We're just like you, and we love yoga!

We believe that yoga creates amazing bonds and we love to teach, learn and have fun with yoga! Being raised in an Indian households, yogic philosophy and culture has played a central role in our lives. Yoga has helped us through some traumatic life experiences including cancer, the loss of our first child and various injuries and ailments. We strongly believe in the power of yoga to strengthen the mind & body and our passion is evident in our teaching style, as well as in how we live our lives!

We take a holistic approach to yoga and believe that yoga is a way of life. The physical benefits of yoga are well known and our hatha/vinyasa style of yoga works on developing strength and flexibility. However, our aim is to incorporate all the other benefits of yoga practice into our classes, including promoting energy flow through pranayama (breathing techniques) and bringing peace and stillness to our busy minds using various meditation techniques.

We cater for beginners to intermediate and love the intimacy of smaller classes at our home in Oakleigh to allow us to give you the appropriate amount of attention.

Students of all ages are welcome and modifications will be suggested before and during the practice. We can also accommodate pregnant students and students with particular illness (diabetes, blood pressure etc.) and injuries.
